The gender budget roadshows are interactive and touring promotional events that are held at major municipal headquarters in each of the five Administrative Divisions of Lagos State. They afford an opportunity for members of the public and municipal staff who do not have a functional involvement in government budget processes, to improve their understanding of gender responsive budgeting and gender analysis. Activities include displays and distribution of informational materials, poster presentations, public lectures and debates. Roadshows have taken place in Ikorodu Local Government (14 February, 2007), Ikeja Local Government, (22 February, 2007). Badagry Local Government (5 & 6 March, 2007), Epe Local Government (27 March, 2007), Lagos Island Local Government (22 March, 2007) and Ikosi-Isheri Local Government (10 May, 2007).
